UK Broadband is a wholly owned subsidiary of PCCW, the incumbent telecommunications operator in Hong Kong. Since 2003 we have been pioneering advanced wireless broadband services in support of various PCCW interests both in Hong Kong and across the world. In the UK we hold a national mobile licence in the core WiMAX 3.5GHz band, the most widely available mobile WiMAX band in the world.

We have a strong management team drawn from across the cellular and ICT industries and with extensive experience of advanced wireless and communications technologies. Our engineers and technology experts are world leaders in wireless broadband, having successfully taken two different technologies from early stage development right through to customer operation.

Our test and measurement labs have helped leading WiMAX equipment vendors refine their products and ensure that any technology we use meet our stringent technical standards before it gets deployed, whilst our Pilot network at Reading offers 'real-world' test and demonstration capabilities.
